Is it wrong/rude to have Holy pictures, Statues, Rosary beeds or a Crucifix hanging up in the...bathroom?

Not at all.

These sacramentals and pious items serve as channels of grace and reminders of Our Lord, Our Lady and the saints.

I have also heard this question before and the the response i got was yes it is rude. I got told that if there in the toilet or that if your wearing it at the same time as your doing your personal business that its disrespectful. E.g if your wearing something holy around your wrist and you have finished doing your business..(obviously you know what im talking about) ..that the religious objects to be so close to something that is waste is disrespectful, irreverent and dishonouring the figure/symbol.
Obviously you are more educated so can you please explain with regards to my comment why it is not so?

Views that say that natural biological actions, even those that require special modesty, like going to the toilet, are somehow shameful are, in my opinion, tinged with a type of gnosticism that says that the body is somehow bad.

That said, I would never want to scandalise anyone and if someone thinks this is "too much" then they don't need to follow the recommendation I give.
