Alpha Course

My friend asked me to come with her to this course which was called the Alpha Course which runs over several weeks and teaches about Catholicism apparently. It got me thinking when it wasnt held in a church and not by priests.

Does anyone know about this so called "Alpha Course"?

I'm not certain, but I always thought Alpha was an Anglican thing.

Thanks David. It was held at this place called the Servants of Jesus which was place which was apparently ecumenical. Yet when I went with her one time, there was no mention of Mother Mary which made me feel uncomfortable.

It's something that originated in the UK ('Holy Trinity' Brompton, central London). Yes, it is Anglican based.
