Contraception and Marital Relations

Hey guys,

Just gonna throw this around for discussion. I know a few couples who have found themselves in a situation similar to the one below...

Situation is as follows:


Husband and wife using contraception.


Wife does not wish to use contraception anymore knowing that it is harmful to her soul and body


Wife is hesitant to tell husband as it might cause tension between them and she wants to avoid conflict.

What should a loving wife do in this situation? Is causing tension inevitable if they wish to do what is right? Any tips?

The first thing she ought to do is tell her husband about her concerns so that any tensions can be dealt with.

The next thing to do is to get her and her husband informed on the reasons for the Church's position. From an informed position making the right choice is easier.
