can someone please tell me what the church teaches about what happens when we die.. . i thought we die we get judged and then judged again.. particular and general judgement? i dont really get why we get judged twice but anyway.. ive been hearing heaps about orbs..apparently theyre spheres of energy created by the spirits of the deceased.

if this is true what are these spirits doing here if when they died the were ment to be judged.. and go to hell or purgortory or heaven??

We die and are judged (this is called the particular judgement) and we then go to our reward.

At the end of the World, our judgement is made public - all we did to show love (or not!) to others is made manifest and God's justice and mercy are shown in their fullness (this is the general or last judgement).

The orb thing is rubbish.
