I recently concluded an exchange with an anti-Catholic Evangelical Protestant that touched on a number of issues. The more I reflect on some of the claims made and arguments put forward (both in defence of the his particular Evangelical position and in criticism of Catholicism) the more I am left wondering how anyone remains Protestant.
